3.1 Specification of the Device
Column with Heater
The unit column with heater element is intended to house the
M4000 or M2000 multiple light beam safety devices, outdoors.
The Sender and Receiver are secured to the slots of the column
by means of a swivel mounting bracket. The sender and receiver
columns are installed opposite each other and aligned parallel.
To keep the Plexiglas front screen of the device column mist-free
it is fitted with a heater, which also maintains the photoelectric
safety switch at its operating temperature. The components have a
limited degree of resistance to corrosion caused by salt water.
