WARNING!
Read the entire manual and other publications relative to the work to be
performed before installation, operation, or maintenance of this equipment.
Follow all security and precautions instructions. The infringement of
instructions may cause injuries or material damage.
!
Procedures of installation, configuration, calibration and verification must be
performed by qualified personnel only and aware of risks involved when
handling electric equipment.
6.1 CONNECTIONS:
E1/E2: Sensing voltage, selectable through dip switch SW2;
E3/4: Power Input Voltage and single-phase sensing voltage common connection;
3:Power Input Voltage;
F+: Positive Exciter Field of the alternator;
F-: Negative Exciter Field of the alternator;
6 and 7: Remote Voltage Adjustment potentiometer (1K x 3W, optional, not supplied with the
regulator. In case it is not used, short-circuit these terminals).
6.2 POTENTIOMETERS:
VOLT: Voltage adjustment. Turning clockwise increases the voltage;
U/F: Fine U/F trigger adjustment. Turning clockwise increases the actuation point;
STAB: Stability adjustment. Turning clockwise increases the stability but the response time to load
variation is slower.
6.3 DIP SWITCHES:
SW1: Operation Frequency Selection;
SW2: E1/E2 Sensing Voltage Selection. ON: 150~300Vac OFF: 300~600Vac;
NOTE
The potentiometers STAB and U / F are preset and sealed. If adjustments are
required, follow the procedures described in this manual.
