The time display reads "F6" intermittently.
As soon as water reaches the low level mark
water intake is stopped, the heating goes on
and the drum starts a delicate wash action.
With cycles 1,2,6,7 water temperature is
40°C, whilst it is 30°C for cycles 3,4,5.
The drum moves only when the heating
elements are on.
The machine stays in this condition until the
START key is pressed, which causes the
selected cycle to begin and the time display
to return to its regular countdown reading.
Under the soak function, all the keys that are
normally active during washing are enabled,
except for the PROG key (pauses are dis-
abled).

Longer cycle length (F8)
This function increases the total duration of
a wash cycle by 10 minutes, which are
distributed as follows:
- during the Prewash stage, the interval be-
tween the first time the temperature set-
point is reached and the start of drainage is
made 2 minutes longer.
- during the Wash stage, five minutes are
added to the interval between the first time
the temperature set-point is reached and
the start of soft water intake (cycles
1,2,6,7), or to the interval between the first
time the temperature set-point is reached
and the start of drainage (cycles 3,4,8,9),
or else to the interval between the first
time the low-level mark is reached and the
start of drainage (cycle 5)
- during the Last Spin stage the effective
control of spin is made 3 minutes longer.

Enabling of cycles 6, 7, 8, 9
IMPORTANT!!!
In the standard configuration all cycles are
enabled.
To enable/disable one or more cycles it is
necessary to access the optional functions
through the procedure above and pressing
the SEL key repeatedly.
During the programming session, if the SEL
key is pressed after selecting cycle 9, the
time display will flash "Ci", whereas the
cycle display will read the cycle number to
be enabled/disabled (6) and the temperature
display will read the current setting (0 stands
for disabled, 1 for enabled; default setting is
1 for all cycles).
Cycles are enabled/disabled using the "+"
and "-" keys.
Press PROG to confirm your selection and
pass on to the ensuing cycle (7).
When the PROG key is pushed again after
having enabled/disabled cycle 9, program-
ming resumes from cycle 1.
The SEL key is not available when enabling
cycles 6,7,8,9.
When scrolling the available cycles, dis-
abled cycles are not shown (See Cycles
Tables).
7.4 WASH PROGRAMS
Cycles are detailed in the attached tables.
CYCLE 1:
• Strong, high-temperature programme (see
table for CYCLE 1)
- low-level prewash, soap compartment A,
heating to 45°C and short spin;
- low-level wash, soap compartment B, heat-
ing to 90°C, cool-down to 65°C and drainage;
- 3 or 5 high-level rinses, short spins in
between;
- high-level final rinse, conditioner in soap
compartment C and 5 min. final spin.
CYCLE 2:
• Strong, medium/high-temperature
programme (see table for CYCLE 2)
- low-level prewash, soap compartment A,
heating to 30°C and short spin;
- low-level wash, soap compartment B,
heating to 60°C, cool-down to 40°C and
drainage;
- 3 or 5 high-level rinses, short spins in
between;
- high-level final rinse, conditioner in soap
compartment C and 5 min. final spin.
CYCLE 3:
• Delicate, medium/low-temperature
programme (see table for CYCLE 3)
- high-level prewash, soap compartment
A, heating to 30°C and drainage;
- high-level wash, soap compartment B,
heating to 45°C and drainage;
- 3 or 5 high-level rinses;
- high-level final rinse, conditioner in soap
compartment C and final short spin.
• CYCLE 4:
Delicate, low-temperature programme (see
table for CYCLE 4)
- high-level wash, soap compartment B,
heating to 30°C and drainage;
- 3 or 5 high-level rinses;
- high-level final rinse, conditioner in soap
compartment C and final short spin.
CYCLE 5:
• Delicate, cold programme (see table for
CYCLE 5)
- high-level wash, soap compartment B
and drainage;
- 3 or 5 high-level rinses;
- high-level final rinse, conditioner in soap
compartment C and final short spin.
CYCLE 6
• Strong, high-temperature programme (see
table for CYCLE 6):
- low-level wash, soap compartment B, heat-
ing to 90°C, cooldown to 65°C and drainage;
- 3 or 5 high-level rinses;
- high-level rinse, conditioner in soap com-
14
partment C and 5 min. final spin.
CYCLE 7
• Strong, medium-high temperature
programme (see table for CYCLE 7):
- low-level wash, heating to 60°C, cooldown
to 40°C and drainage;
- 3 or 5 high-level rinses;
- high-level rinse, conditioner in soap com-
partment C and 5 min. final spin.
CYCLE 8
• Strong, medium-low temperature
programme (see table for CYCLE 8):
- high-level first prewash (to overflow level),
no heating, drainage;
- high-level second prewash, soap compart-
ment A, heating to 30°C and short spin;
- high-level wash, soap compartment
heating to 40°C and short spin;
- 3 or 5 high-level rinses;
- high level final rinse, conditioner in soap
compartment C and 5 min. final spin.
CYCLE 9
• Strong, high-temperature programme (see
table for CYCLE 9):
- high-level first prewash (to overflow level),
no heating; drainage;
- low-level second prewash, soap compart-
ment A, heating to 60°C and short spin;
- low-level wash, soap compartment B, heat-
ing to 90°C and short spin;
- 3 or 5 high-level rinses;
- high level final rinse, conditioner in soap
compartment C and 5 min. final spin.
Before loading the laundry make sure that
buttons, zips, clasps and buckles are facing
inside and pockets are empty.
At the end of the job do the following:
- leave the door open;
- turn the machine off by the master switch
- close the hot water, cold water and steam
cocks (the latter applies to steam-heated
machines only).
- turn the wall cutoff switch off.
7.5 USEFUL ADVICE
Remember that loading 80% of the ma-
chine's rated capacity provides better wash
results.
Mind that more soap does not mean better
wash: on the contrary, using too much wash-
ing powder leads only to unnecessary pollu-
tion. The right amount of soap is indicated
by your supplier according to the relevant
water hardness.
7.6 WARNING
Do not leave the machine on to no purpose.
TURN the main switch OFF when the ma-
chine is not being used.
During use:
- Open the door only when the drum is still
and drained.
