1. Preparation
Install the water supplies and drain piping according to the
roughing-in information.
NOTE: Consult with a tile contractor to determine the material to be
used.
Tile backer board installed over plywood is the recommended
underlayment for installing this lavatory. Tile should be bonded
to the backer board with dry set or latex Portland mortar.
Acceptable underlayments include: tile backer board over 3/4"
(1.9 cm) exterior grade plywood or 3/4" (1.9 cm) exterior grade
plywood. Do not use: flakeboard, interior grade plywood, or
gypsum wallboard.
Determine the desired location for the sink.
Draw the cutout line based on the measurements provided in the
Cutout Information tables.
Provide adequate clearance between the sink and backsplash.
Verify your measurements.
