Loading by hand

An empty DT-Mobil
Easy generator tank
can be loaded by hand
using the recessed
grips on the sides of the
tank. In this case, note
the weight of the filling
station when empty:
17–81 kg

5.2.3 Loading with a crane (980 l version
only)
Danger!
A DT-Mobil Easy generator tank can
cause severe injuries if it falls.
Do not stand under suspended loads
during crane operations.
Before each crane operation, the screw
fastenings of the four brackets must
be checked for a correct and secure
connection.

Important!
The lid must be closed and completely
locked with the two locks f.
• Fold up the four crane lugs g fixed to the side
of the tank.
• Attach four suitable load handling devices of
equal length to the crane lugs.
• The DT-Mobil Easy can be loaded onto or
unloaded from the transport vehicle.

5.2.4

Transporting

During transport, observe the pertinent regulations
for transport and securing loads, in particular:
• road-traffic (licensing) regulations of the country
concerned
• CEN 12195 Parts 1 to 4 for calculation and
lashing
Use the generator tank's four crane lugs g to fa-
sten it to the transport vehicle with suitable tension
belts.

Important!
Form before force!
First, try to load the filling station based
on form (e.g. by loading flush with the side
walls).
Excessive lashing forces can deform the
tank and damage it
Recommendation:
Use a non-slip mat.
5.3

Filling the tank

Ensure that the tank is horizontally aligned and
adequately secured!
Fire, naked flames and smoking
prohibited
1. Open the lid of the DT-Mobil Easy generator
tank. (980 l version only)
2. Unscrew cap from filling connection b.
3. The container is filled using a delivery nozzle
with an automatic shut-off.
4. Check the level inside the tank using the fill-
level indicator h (980 l version only).
5. Screw the cap of the filling opening back on
tightly.
6. Contamination caused by the filling process
must be removed immediately with a dry cloth.
7. Close the lid of the DT-Mobil Easy generator
tank. (980 l version only)
