5.4 Supply of oil-fired heaters and
generators
When supplying mobile oil-fired heaters and gene-
rators, ensure that the flow/return lines of the DT-
Mobil Easy generator tank are correctly connected
to the consumer.
Included in the scope of delivery:
Quick-coupling set consisting of a 3/8" male thread
connection and its counterpart with flow and return
lines.

Safety measures

The operator must provide any protective clothing that may be required.
Who can carry out maintenance and inspection work?
» Normal maintenance work can be carried out by trained operating personnel.

Inspections of the filling station with regard to ADR approval may only be performed by a recog-
nised, registered inspection agency.

Explanations on recurrent checks and inspections

The DT Mobil Easy generator tank must also be inspected in accordance with ADR 6.5.4.4.1 b) at
intervals of at most two and a half years. This inspection must check the external condition and correct
operation of the operating equipment and must satisfy the responsible authority.

ADR approval expires after five years. (980 l version only)

Action
Clean off any dirt or diesel residue.
Visual check for damage
Check hoses for cracks and porosity, check fittings for leaks (replace
defective parts).
Lubricate hinges and lock with a few drops of universal oil.
Inspection according to ADR 6.5.4.4.1 b) and 6.5.4.4.2 - Documentation in
the test report (see section 9).
