7.7 CONTINUITY TEST

Please read the safety recommendations before use.
There must be no voltage in the circuit.
1. Set the selector (5) to and press SELECT to
display (14).
The buzzer sounds when the circuit to be checked is DC or has
a resistance of less than 50 Ω ± 25 Ω.
7.8 TO MEASURE TEMPERATURES
Please read the safety recommendations before use.
Automatic measurement ranges: -50 to + 1100°C (-58 to 2010°F) (2
ranges).
1. Set the selector (5) to TEMP.
2. Insert the adapter's "-" terminal (31) in terminal 1 and the
adapter's "+" terminal in terminal 13.
3. Insert the type K thermocouple (30) in the adapter. Position
the thermocouple's sensing section in the area to be
measures and take the reading.
If OL is displayed, this indicates that capacity has been
exceeded.
4. Press SELECT to change the measurement unit (°C or °F).
7.9 TO DISPLAY THE MAXIMUM AND MINIMUM VALUES

1. Set the selector to one of the following positions:
°C°K (CM685) TEMP (CM660/670) or (CM685).
The AUTO POWER OFF automatic shutdown function is
deactivated.
2. Take the measurement and press MIN/MAX once.
The and icons appear: recording of Min. and
Max. values has now been activated.
3. Press MIN/MAX a second time.
The icons flash; recording is now stopped.
4. Press MIN/MAX a third time.
The icon shows that the value displayed is the maximum
recorded value.
