Software Installation
Before you connect C-Pen 10 to your PC you must install the software on
the enclosed CD-ROM.
1. Close all open applications.
2. Insert the CD-ROM in your PC's CD-ROM drive. The installation
program will start automatically.
3. In the dialog box select the Menu Language i.e. the language used in
the program menus. You can either accept the default language in the
list or select a different language. The language selected will also be the
C-Pen's reading language. You can change the language later under
Settings. Click Next.
4. In the next dialog box select the folder where you want to install the
software. Simply accept the suggested folder or click Browse to choose
another folder. Click Install. The software will be installed.
5. A message will be displayed when the installation is complete.
6. Plug C-Pen 10 into the USB port on your PC.
Troubleshooting
• If your computer prompts you for drivers you have probably connected
C-Pen without first installing the software on the enclosed CD-ROM.
Disconnect C-Pen, install the software and reconnect C-Pen.
• If the installation program does not start, simply click on Start on the
Taskbar and select Run. In the Open field type

C-Pen Functions
C-Pen can alternate between two functions:
• Reader - to read
• Mouse - to function as a mouse.
Reader
C-Pen 10 can read text and digits in most fonts between 5-22 points
(including bold and italics). If you want to read a digit, for example a
reference number when paying through an Internet bank, click on the
C-Pen icon in the Taskbar and select Digits as reading mode on the
