Right fork leg
–
Clamp the fork leg in the area of the lower triple clamp.
Clamping stand (T1403S)

Release screw cover
Socket (T07030)

The screw cover cannot be removed yet.

Unclamp the fork leg and clamp it on the axle clamp.
Guideline
Use soft jaws.

Push the outside fork tube downwards.
–
Hold screw cap

Remove the screw cap.

Remove the nut.

Remove bushing
–
Remove adjusting tube
–
Remove dust boot
–
Remove fork protector ring
Info
The fork protector ring does not necessarily need to
be removed for repair work.

Remove lock ring

The lock ring has a specially finished end against
which the screwdriver can be placed.

Warm up the outside fork tube in area
ding bushing.
Guideline
50 °C (122 °F)
–
Pull the outside fork tube off the inside fork tube with a
jerk.

The lower sliding bushing must be pulled out of its
