When the grill reaches the selected temperature, the resistors stop working and the amber pilot light turns
off. Likewise, as soon as the temperature goes below the selected value, the resistors start to work.
Safety thermostat
The safety thermostat works when the maximum admissible temperature is exceeded making it impossible
to use the appliance. To start it up again, reset the safety thermostat, situated on the back of the control
panel, pressing the red button.
If the safety thermostat were to cut off again, call the Technical Assistance Service.
Fat collection
These appliances are equipped with a simple system to collect the fat produced during use.
The fat or oil first drains towards a channel at the front, through a hole in this channel and then falls into a
container. Empty it regularly.

Daily cleaning
In order for the appliance to work as new, it is advisable to follow the following instructions:
Do not use gritty and abrasive detergents for cleaning.
Do not use a water hose to clean the appliance.
Clean the fat collector container once a day in a bowl of hot soapy water.
Never use products with bleach (hydrochloric, perchloric, formic and trichloroacetic acid, amongst
others) nor certain alkaline solutions (sodium hydroxide, for example) to clean the chrome plated grill.
Special care must also be taken when cleaning the areas near to the grill with abrasive products. If
necessary, cover the appliance, to prevent corrosive products from splashing onto the plate.
