screws M8X20 and then on the chassis with 2 M8X20 screws and 2
self-locking nuts (photo 12).
16- Fit the footrests like shown in photo 13, with M8X40 screws and
self-locking nuts.
17- Fit the stand using the M8X18 screw to fasten it and the spring
provided (photo 14).
DANGER. We suggest you to remove the stand during
competitions as it could be dangerous and bruising.
18- Fit the gear lever (photo 15).
19- Fill the fuel tank (see section 7.14).
20- Check the engine oil level (see section 7.3).
21- For Minimotard only: apply the protections on the footrests,

handlebar, forks and on the wheel (photo 16).

REMIND. Always ensure that the motorcycle has been efficiently
serviced and check it over before riding it. Take your motorcycle to an
authorised POLINI MOTORI dealer for all major servicing and repair.

differ in some details from that described in the illustrations and text

ensures a longer life and improved efficiency for your motorcycle.
2. VEHICLE CARRIAGE
To proceed with a correct and safety carriage of the vehicle from the
garaging to the track it is necessary:

- Be sure that the tank is empty in order to avoid petrol dripping;
- Place the minicross/minimotard on a horizontal flat on the vehicle
you will use to transport the bike;
- Place the minicross/minimotard on the stand, fix it with belts and
ropes being sure it always stays in vertical position during the carriage.
WARNING. Never transport the bike with the engine full of
petrol or with the muffler or other parts hot.
3. OPERATIONS BEFORE RIDING THE MINICROSS/
MINIMOTARD
WARNING. Starting from this paragraph on all the operations
must be carried out by people over 14 and always under the
supervision of a competent and adult person.
