Read the following instructions together with the Operating Instructions (PDF format) stored on the
accompanying CD-ROM.
The added functions described in this document are those that combine the following two software.
• Camcorder software (V2.1)
• Network function software (V2.12)
Use the Content Browser Mobile application V2.0 or later.
About the network client mode
The "NW Client Mode" menu is added to the "NETWORK SET" menu.
By using a combination of the Sony network RX station PWS-100RX1 (optional) and this network client
mode, high quality streaming with less packet loss using the Sony QoS technology is available.
While using the camcorder with "NW Client Mode," operate the camcorder from the Connection Control
Manager (CCM) application.

Connect the camcorder with the network.
For details, refer to the operating instructions (PDF).

Set "NW Client Mode" in the "NETWORK SET" menu to "CCM Address," "CCM
Port," "User Name," or "Password."

In "NW Client Mode" of the "NETWORK SET" menu, select "Execute" for "Set."
The set items are confirmed.

Set "Setting" in "NW Client Mode" of the "NETWORK SET" menu to "On."
Set whether to start connection or disconnect with CCM.
Input the address of CCM for the equipment connected
(Host name or IP address)
Input the port number of CCM for the equipment connected
Input the user name for CCM access authentication
Input the password for CCM access authentication
Enable the connection setting (Execute)
