3. Setting the injection nozzles pressure
Setting for 20 mbar versions
1. Adjusting the 2nd stage pressure :
- Connect the pressure gauge to the manifold pressure
tap in order to measure the injection nozzles pressure
(page 23)
- Operate the boiler in the 2nd stage acting upon the
thermostat(s)
- Adjust the injection nozzles pressure indicated in § 6
as follows :
GB
• unscrew the slotted head screw C by approximately
one turn and unscrew completely the adjusting knob
D (turning it counter-clockwise), then tighten again
screw C.
• adjust the injection nozzles pressure turning screw B
of the regulator. Clockwise rotation increases the
main flow, counter-clockwise rotation decreases it.
Note :
• If you get to the stop with the screw B before having
reached the right pressure, unscrew B a quarter turn
and continue the setting by acting on D after having
released the head screw C.
• For propane gas, the regulator B is completely scre-
wed, it is out of operation.
2. Adjusting the 1st stage pressure :
- Operate the boiler in the 1st stage acting upon the bur-
ner operation selecting switch located on the boiler
control panel.
- Adjust the flow in order to obtain the injection nozzles
pressure indicated in § 6 (0,5 x the 2nd stage pressu-
re) as follows :
- Adjust the 1st stage flow with the help of ring E.
Clockwise rotation decreases the flow.
Counter-clockwise rotation increases the flow.
- Tighten locking screw C.
3. Adjusting the starting progressiveness
(or initial flow)
Progressiveness is factory-set to the minimum (low
starting pressure).
Depending on the installation conditions, one may be
led to adjust the progressiveness setting in order to
ensure an optimal start of the boiler.
Proceed as follow :
- Unscrew protection cap G, turn it over and use it as a
key to turn adjusting spindle H until obtaining the initial
flow required.
Counter-clockwise rotation increases the initial flow,
clockwise rotation decreases it.
- After adjustement, put cap G back in place.
