With a dab of adhesive, set the notched mosaic tile (A) in place, ensuring that the fiber (B) remains upright. Trim the fiber
down to about 5cm (2") to facilitate finishing the mosaic skin.
Continue setting the notched pieces of mosaic around every fiber. Leave undisturbed to set and dry 24 hours before the
finishing operations.
Con una pequeña cantidad de adhesivo, coloque la pieza tallada de mosaico en su sitio (A), comprobando que la fibra
(B) quede en posición vertical. Recorte la fibra hasta unos 50mm (2") para facilitar el acabado del revestimiento.
Repita la operación de colocar las piezas talladas de mosaico para cada fibra. Antes de acometer las operaciones de
acabado es preciso que el adhesivo seque y fragüe 24 horas.
Pour and work well with a squeegee the finishing slurry into the joints (A), ensuring that the notches around the fibers
don't have any voids. Clean surplus material, brush and leave to dry overnight. With a sharp blade (B) cut the fibers flush
with the surface of the mosaic. Once all fibers are flush with the mosaic skin (C), polish with paste applied with a felt disk.
Vierta la lechada y trabaje con una rasqueta para introducir la pasta en las juntas (A), asegurando la ausencia de hue-
cos o poros alrededor de las fibras. Limpie el material sobrante, cepille o frote con estropajo y deje secar hasta el día
siguiente. Con una hoja afilada, (B) corte las fibras a ras de la superficie del mosaico.
Una vez que todas las fibras estén enrasadas con el revestimiento (C) proceda a pulir con un disco de fieltro y pasta
de pulir.
