4.2 LOSAS DE HORMIGÓN / SIN ACABADO
Once the opening or coffer work for the slab is ready (A), prepare the base with a layer of weak sand and cement mortar.
When the base mortar has dried, deploy the fibers from the illuminator location and distribute (B) along the slab's base.
At this stage it's not important if the fibers are evenly distributed.
Cuando la zanja o encofrado estén listos (A) prepare la base de la losa con hormigón bastardo o de limpieza. Una vez
que la base esté seca, conduzca las fibras desde el iluminador y distribuya (B) en la base de la losa. En este punto no
reviste mayor importancia la distribución de las fibras.
Install the reinforcing rebar or mesh (C) taking great care not to crush or damage the fibers. Use suitable spacers between
the reinforcement and the base of the slab. Secure each fiber to the uppermost layer of rebar or mesh, ensuring the fas-
tened fibers are as vertical as possible. Depending of the technique used for pouring the concrete (by hand, continuous
pour or pumped) the fibers must be securely fastened to withstand the lateral pull of the pouring mix. Once the slab's
surface has dried, cut the fibers and finish if desired, following the indications of 1.1.4.
Instale la ferralla y/o mallazo (C) con precaución para no aplastar o dañar las fibras. Inserte espaciadores entre la ferralla
y la base de la losa. Ate cada fibra a los refuerzos superiores o mallazo, asegurando que las fibras se mantengan ver-
ticales. En función de la técnica de vertido (a mano, con bomba o continuo desde el camión) las fibras deben sujetarse
con mayor seguridad para contrarrestar el empuje lateral del vertido. Una vez que la losa haya fraguado, corte las fibras
al ras y acabe si es necesario siguiendo las indicaciones de 1.1.4.
