IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS

• Read
Safeguard them for future reference.
• Before plugging the appliance into the
mains, check that the voltage corresponds
to that stated on the characteristics plate.
• The appliance should be switched off
when plugging it in or when unplugging it.
• Do not operate the appliance with the
cable still coiled.
• Do not unplug the appliance by tug-
ging on the ca ble.
• Unplug the vacuum cleaner from the
mains supply when not in use and before
proceeding to clean it or change the bags
or filters.
• This vacuum cleaner must not be used
without the dust bag or the filter protec-
tor.
• This appliance has been designed ex-
clusively for domestic use.
• Never use the vacuum to suck up hot
ashes, sharp objects or liquids.
• Do not leave the vacuum beside hot
ovens, heaters or radiators.
• Do not use the vacuum if it has any
passage obstructed, given that this will
reduce the air flow, causing it to overheat
which may damage the appliance.
• Do not handle either the vacuum or the
plug with wet hands. Do not immerse the
appliance in water.

• Do not pull on either the cable or the
suction tube to move the vacuum. Use
the carry handle.
• Do not let children handle the
appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if either the
cable or plug are damaged.
• When closing doors, make sure they do
not pinch the ca ble.
• Do not switch the appliance on if the
cable or plug are damaged or if it can be
detected that the appliance is not wor-
king correctly.
• Cable repairs and replacements must be
carried out exclusively by an Authorised
Technical Service Centre.
• Attention: Do not use the vacuum clea-
ner to suck up buil ding waste (cement,
brick dust, rubble, sawdust, etc.).
• These types of particles quickly clog
up the pores in the dust bag causing the
appliance to overheat.
SWITCHING ON AND OPERATION
1. Check that the dust bag has been fitted
correctly.

2. Fit the tube to the suction hose, with
the brush or nozzle that is required and
fit the hose onto the vacuum intake.
3. Pull the cord out and plug it into the
mains supply. Press the On/Off pedal.
4. Set the power with the regulator.
(Fig. 1).
5. The intensity can be regulated from the
hand grip. Opening the flap reduces suc-
tion, whereas closing it increases suction.
(Fig. 2).
6. When you have finished using the
appliance press the On/Off pedal.
Disconnect the plug from the mains
and wind in the cord by pressing down
on the automatic cord rewind pedal.
Accessories can be stored in the com-
partment located on the top of the
vacuum cleaner. (Fig. 3).
BRUSH FOR WOODEN FLOORING
This brush has been specially designed
to clean wooden floor surfaces. The
soft hair bristles brush over the surface
picking up the dust but without dama-
ging the floor.
CHANGING THE BAG
When the suction decreases considera-
bly and the bag full indicator shows up
as red in the centre of the window, this
