Starting the UPA-P100MD
To start the UPA-P100MD, use the following
procedure.

Connect the power cord to the power outlet.

On the front panel of the UPA-P100MD, press the
power switch. This turns on the device.

Approximately a minute after turning on the UPA-
P100MD, it beeps three times. If you use the RM-
P110 Remote Control Unit, [Enter Patients name]
appears on the display.
The UPA-P100MD is now ready.

Capture Unit User's
Guide
Before you begin using the UPA-P100MD, you should
read the UPA-P100MD User's Guide. The guide is
located on the UPA-P100MD hard disk. To access the
UPA-P100MD User's Guide, follow the procedure
below.

Start your Internet browser.
Note
Before you proceed to step 2, make sure that your
Internet browser does not use a proxy server.

In the address bar of the browser, type the
following:
http://192.168.3.200/

Press ENTER. The Sony UPA-P100MD screen
opens.

To access the UPA-P100MD User's Guide, click
[Manual (PDF)] or [Manual (HTML)] in the Sony
UPA-P100MD screen. Depending on the settings
of your computer, clicking [Manual (PDF)] spans
Adobe Acrobat Reader. If Adobe Acrobat Reader
is not installed on your computer, you can
download it from the Adobe Web site (http://
www.adobe.com/) and install it. If for some reason
you cannot download Adobe Acrobat Reader,
consult the HTML version of the manual by
clicking [Manual (HTML)].
