WARNING
• Do not carry out welding when the
machine is used as a power generator.
Before connecting the welding cables, shut off the
general switch and disconnect all the appliances
connected into the generator.
• Connect the ground cable (A) into the negative (
terminal. Connect the clamp in the opposite end of the
cable (B) into the work piece or the metal work table
where the work piece is supported.
• Connect the electrode holder cable (C) to the positive
( ) terminal.
• Fasten the adequate electrode for the job to be carried
out (D) with the electrode holder.
• Start the machine as indicated in page 10.
CAUTION • If the connectors are not duly
tightened, the internal connection dashboard and the
welding cable could burn. Double check all
connections before starting the welder.

• Before carrying out welding jobs, double check the joint to be welded. It shall be free of corrosion and stains 1" around
the joint.
• Replace the electrode when there is only 0,4" to 0,8" left unto the electrode holder.
CAUTION
• The electrode burns in very high temperatures. Do not use your hand to replace it. Worn electrodes
shall be placed into a metal container.
• Do not use the electrode holder to fasten the electrode covering. Hold it by the uncovered part.
• Upon finishing welding, use a special hammer to remove slag from the surface of the weld seam once it cools down and
hardens. To prevent personal injuries there shall never be people in front of you when removing slag.

• Start the machine as indicated in page 10. Allow 5
minutes of stable running unloaded to warm the motor
and start welding.
• To adjust the current turn dial (E) up to the amperes
needed in the electrode to be used. Consult the table
) as a reference.
