With reference to Fig. 3:
If collet (B) fails to open after lever (A) has been turned through 90°, or if
the tool is insufficiently clamped when the lever is in the "locked" position,
adjust as follows:
- turn lever (A) through 90° to bring the collet to its maximum extension
position;
- immobilize handpiece spindle (C) with a cross tool;
- insert a 1.5mm Allen key in the collet (B), locked to the shaft base (C) by
an Allen screw;
- loosen this screw with the Allen Key by a half turn in a counterclockwise
direction. This will release the collet (B);
- to adjust clamping force, turn the collet with your fingers: clockwise to
increase or counterclockwise to reduce;
- use the Allen key to tighten the screw which locks the collet;
- remove the cross tool to release the spindle.
5HSODFLQJ WKH KDQGSLHFH
The handpiece can be removed, exclusively when the motor is stopped,
by turning it counterclockwise until it is detached from the motor.
