CAR SEAT
IORdANI
ERsEO
CORRECT IN-CAR INsTALLATION
This is an i-Size child restraint system.
It is certified according to Regulation
No. 129/01 to be used with car seats
which are i-Size compatible, as noted
by vehicle manufacturers in their user
manuals. When in doubt, check with the
child restraint manufacturer or retailer.
This restraint system cannot be used if
your vehicle is not equipped with ISOFIX.
You must follow the manufacturer`s rec-
ommendations.
WARNING!
Cases or other objects
which may cause injury in the case of
a collision should be properly fixed in
place.
WARNING!
Children must not be left
unattended in the restraint system.
The sun may cause the plastic compo-
nents of the child restraint system to
overheat, meaning they become too
hot for the child's skin. Keep your child
and the child restraint system out of
direct sunlight, e.g. cover the seat
with a light-coloured cloth. The plas-
tic parts and rigid pieces in the child
restraint system must be positioned
and installed so they cannot become
entrapped by a moving seat or
car door during normal vehicle use.
WARNING!
The restraint system does
not work with the normal seat belt. If
the restraint system is held in place
using the seat belt, then if there is an
accident both the child and any other
occupants of the vehicle may be seri-
ously injured or killed.
WARNING!
The restraint system can-
not be used in vehicles with seats in-
stalled facing forward at the wrong
angle. The restraint system cannot
be used in rear- facing seats, e.g. in
mini-vans or minibuses. The restraint
system must be used with seats with
the ISOFIX system (even when this is
not in use). In the case of an emergen-
cy stop or a minor accident, a poorly
installed seat may injure other pas-
sengers.
IN-VEHICLE PROTECTION
Some vehicles may show signs of use or
seat discolouration from using the child
restraint system, e.g. leather seats or deli-
cate fabrics. Avoid this problem by placing
a seat protector under the child restraint
system.
WARNING!
It is dangerous to make any
alteration or addition to the product
without manufacturer approval. It is just
as dangerous not to carefully follow the
installation instructions provided by the
manufacturer for this child restraint sys-
tem. The child restraint system must not
be used without its lining. The lining may
not be replaced with another lining that
is not recommended by the manufactur-
er, as it is an integral part of the restraint
system. If exposed to violent stress in an
accident, change the product.
IN-VEHICLE UsE OF THE CHILd
REsTRAINT sYsTEM
The system can be used facing forward
or backwards depending on the age and
size of the child.
Note: Accident statistics show that
rear-facing is far safer and reduces the
risk of injuries if there is an accident.
That is why we recommend using the
product facing backwards as much as
possible.
18
REAR-FACING UsE (40-87 CM TALL)
WARNING!
This product must be used
facing backwards until the child is at

We recommend using the restraint

child is 87 cm tall and weighs 13 kg.
FORWARd-FACING UsE
(76-105 CM TALL)
USE THE RESTRAINT SYSTEM FAC-
ING FORWARDS WHEN THE CHILD
IS OVER 15 MONTHS OLD AND AT
LEAST 76 CM TALL, TO A MAXIMUM
WEIGHT OF 19 KG.
NOTE:
Set the headrest for the child
restraint system.

sons, new-borns and babies that
cannot sit unaided to the age of 1
year must travel facing backwards
and in the maximum tilted position.
