INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS U-HANDLE COMBO KIT
3. Place blade (F) over upper plate pilot and install the "lower plate"
(G) and L.H. nut (H). Tri-Cut blade (I) is installed with glide cup (J).
4. Insert locking tool (K) through hole in upper plate and notch in
gear housing (C) to prevent splined shaft from turning, tighten nut
(H) and secure with a cotter pin (L).
IMPORTANT
Never reuse a cotter pin - install a new cotter pin each time a blade is
installed or replaced.
5. Remove locking tool.
NOTE
The Tri-Cut blade is designed for weed and grass cutting. Do not
attempt to cut brush or trees with this blade. Cracked or worn Tri-
cut blades cannot be repaired. They must be replaced.

INSTALL U HANDLE AND HARNESS RING
Tools Required: Screwdriver, 4 mm Hex Wrench, 19 mm Wrench.
Parts Required: U-Handle Assembly, Harness Clamp, Lower Handle
Bracket, Lower Handle Bracket Clamp, 8 mm Square
Nut, 8 mm x 55 mm Long Hex Head Bolt, 8 mm Flat
Washer, 5 mm x 30 mm hex socket bolts (3), Plastic
Cable Clamps (2).
1. Close choke and remove air filter cover.
2. Disconnect two (2) ignition stop leads (A, B).
3. Remove inner throttle linkage cable from carburetor swivel (C).
4. Loosen cable retainer plate screw (D) and pivot retainer plate
down.
5. Remove throttle cable from retainer block (E).
6. Loosen bolt (F) and pull drive shaft assembly from clutch case.
