INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS U-HANDLE COMBO KIT
7.
Loosen two (2) brass rear handle clamp screws (G) and pull rear
handle (H) from the drive shaft assembly.
8.
Loosen two (2) screws (I) and remove front handle.
9.
Insert square nut (J) in lower handle bracket (K) and place bracket
on drive shaft 400mm (15 3/4 in.) from engine end of drive shaft.
10.
Secure with lower handle bracket clamp (L) and three (3) 5mm x
30mm hex socket screws.
11.
Position harness ring (M) 220mm (8-5/8 in.) from engine end of
drive shaft assembly. DO NOT tighten at this time.
12.
Install U-Handle assembly on lower bracket, and secure with one
(1) 8mm x 55mm bolt and one (1) 8 mm flat washer (N). Do not
tighten bolt securely until final adjustments are completed.
13.
Install power head, and align gear box, power head and U-handles.
Tighten bolt (F).
14. Place inner cable in large hole of carburetor swivel (C)
15. Hold carburetor swivel in position, and place throttle cable cap

flange in 2
slot from top of retainer block (E).
16. Check throttle for freedom of movement, and that wide open
throttle/low idle extremes are adjusted properly. Move throttle
cable cap in retainer block to make necessary adjustments.
17. Pivot retainer plate up to secure throttle cable cap, and tighten
screw (D).
18. Connect ignition stop leads (A) and (B).
