BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH INSTALLATION

General Information

Check to ensure that the drain is operative, as well as connec-
n
tion to the water and electrical supply.
n
Before every installation phase, remove any bar code labels
present on shower enclosure components.
n
ATTENTION: (IEC 60335-1/A2) The pressure of the wa-
ter system supplying the appliance must not exceed
600 kPa (6 bar).
m
ATTENTION: in order to move the glass, use ONLY the
appropriate suction lifters; the size should be suited to
the weight of the actual glass. You must also use suit-
able protective gloves.
n
ATTENTION: during installation, we recommend pro-
tecting the tray from any possible knocks or scratches.
Ensure the walls are perpendicular to the tray; wall mounted
n
compensators allow for a 10 mm error margin: errors of larger
dimensions can be rectified using suitable spacers or by moving
the tray from the wall.

IMPORTANTE: for Countries where 220-240V voltage is
supplied by a two-phase system (L+L), the connection
has to be made on terminals L(1) and N anyway.
n
There are two terminals inside the electric control box (designated
with "ALL") to which the alarm circuit should be connected; these
terminals are open contacts powered by a relay.
- When the "alarm" key is pressed, a relay inside the electric con-
trol box activates the emergency call device for approximately
15 seconds. The call warning (alarms, buzzers, lamps, etc.) may
be powered to either 220/240 V or low voltage, however with
maximum power absorption equal to 5 A.
-The alarm circuit connection must incorporate a cable with
characteristics not inferior to H 05 VV-F 2x2.5 mm
type must be used in order to ensure that the cable clamp at-
tached to the box provides adequate protection as specified by
legislation.

n
To ensure a perfect installation, it is necessary to pay attention to
the perpendicularity of the shower unit from the very beginning; in
this way, even if some elements must be removed temporarily dur-
ing assembly (to make it easier to assemble the panel or the glass
on the wall) this will not have a detrimental affect on the process for
installing the product.
n
ous functions, checking for perfect hydraulic tightness of all
pipes and connections.
Before handing the appliance over to the user, it is advisable, with
the user present, to demonstrate how all the functions work; for de-
tails, see the use and maintenance manual.

Electrical safety

Cloud shower enclosures are manufactured according to regu-

lations EN 60335-1, EN 60335-2-105, EN 61000, EN 55014-1,
EN 55014-2 and tested during production to guarantee user
safety.
n Installation must be carried out by qualified and authorized
personnel, in compliance with the national provisions in force.
m
n Class "1" appliances must be immutably connected, without
intermediate junctions, to the electrical mains and protection
circuit (ground system).

Connecting the alarm (where necessary)
To ensure the degree of protection against splashes of water,
the alarm outlet cable clamp is sealed by a plug in the factory;
this should only be removed when carrying out the connec-
tion.
Note regarding glass installation
Before closing the shower enclosure panel, test the vari-
It is the installer's responsibility to select the mate-
rials, considering the way they will be used; to carry
out the installation correctly; and to verify the condi-
tion of the network to which the system will be con-
nected and its capability to ensure safety in mainte-
nance and inspection operations.
