Trinocular head
The trinocular head (fig. 1, 1) is designed to work with objective lenses, the optical length of tubes in which is "infinity". The
head enables binocular observation with eyepieces (fig. 2, 5) and image output through a vertical tube (fig. 2, 3) for fixation.
The head enables positioning of eyepiece tubes in accordance with the required eyepiece spacing (observer's eye base). The
distance between axes of eyepieces (fig. 2, 5) is adjusted by rotation of eyepiece tubes in the range from 50 to 75mm. The
ring (fig. 2, 4) in the left eyepiece tube performs dioptric adjustment of eyepiece position (fig. 2, 5) for ±5 diopters.
Luminous flux is directed into a vertical tube by switching the knob (fig. 1, 2). The knob can be switched into three positions,
providing for three options of beam splitting: observation only, observation and documentation and only documentation. The
head is installed into the seat of the fluorescent illuminator and is fixed by the fixator (fig. 1, 3).
Objective lenses
All objective lenses (fig. 2, 7) included into the scope of supply are designed for infinite optical length of the tube and have
semi-apochromatic correction. Parfocal height of objective lenses is 45mm.
Linear magnification and numerical aperture are engraved on the casing of each objective lens. There is also a color marking
compliant with magnification and information on a cover slip. The package includes objective lenses for working with the slides
protected by cover slips and also objective lenses not requiring a slide to be protected by a cover slip.

"∞/−" inscription on the objective lens means that the objective lens may handle slides both with a cover slip or without it.
40x and 100x magnification objective lenses are equipped with elastic frames preventing objects and frontal objective lenses
against damage when focusing on object surface.
WARNING! IF OBJECTIVE LENSES ARE DAMAGED, THEY SHOULD BE REPAIRED IN THE MANUFACTURER'S SERVICE
CENTER.
Eyepieces
The microscope package comprises two wide-field eyepieces with 10x magnification and 22mm linear field in the image plane.
Microscope use

Operation limits

The microscope should be used in premises where pushes and vibrations are hardly sensed, with no sources of intensive external
exposure, i.e. sources of electromagnet radiation. There shall be no excessive dust, acid, alkali vapors and other chemically
active substances in the premises. The microscope should not be operated in brightly lit premises.
The microscope is designed for operation under the conditions of moderate and cold climate in laboratory premises at air
