Advice:
The use of Mondial appliances by children needs clear instructions of use and
constant supervision during use of the appliance.
OPERATION
The instrument consists of the following parts, see fig.A:
Before using the appliance:
˃
Unpack the appliance.
˃
Clean the outer part of the appliance with a damp cloth. Dry well with a mild cloth or
paper.
˃
The Vat and inside the Cover should be cleaned with a soft sponge and detergent
and dried with a soft cloth or paper.
˃
The Basket can be washed with water and detergent, but make sure it is
completely dry before using it.
˃
Repeat the operation whenever our Fryer is not used for long periods of time.
Use (See fig.A)
˃
Check to see that the voltage of the appliance is compatible with the local mains
voltage.
˃
Make sure the Temperature Selector is in the 0 position (OFF) and then insert the
plug in power outlet.
˃
Press the Automatic Open button of the Cover.
˃
Unlock the Basket by pressing the Handle Lock and remove the Basket.
˃
Check to see that the Vat is completely dry. One drop of water will make the oil spill.
˃
Pour oil up to the MAX position indicated inside the Vat.
˃
Do not use margarine or butter. This appliance was developed to fry only with oil or
olive oil.
˃
Close the Cover.
˃
Connect the Plug to the outlet.
˃
Select the temperature according to the food to be prepared.
˃

˃
The oil must be pre-heated for about 10 minutes. When the right temperature is
reached, the Heat pilot light will go off and the appliance is ready to use. The
Light that indicates that the appliance is switched on will remain on.
˃
The Heat Pilot Light will automatically turn on every time the oil needs to be
reheated in order to maintain the selected temperature.
˃
Put the food in the Basket, not exceeding the MAX capacity to ensure good results.
Always use the Handle in the vertical position when handling the Basket.
˃
Open the Cover and put the Basket inside the Vat. Use protection or thermal
gloves and handle the appliance carefully because the oil will be hot.
˃
Close the Cover, making sure that it is perfectly locked.
˃
Insert the Basket Handle in the Base, pressing the Handle Lock downwards.
˃
Make sure that the food is at the right cooking point through the Cover Display.
˃
To remove the food, press the automatic Open Button of the Cover, moving it away
just enough to let out the hot vapor trapped inside during frying.
˃
Lift up the Handle Lock and remove the Basket. Put the basket in the rest position
(see image below) to remove the excess oil. Then transfer the food to another
container.
˃
Every now and then check to see that the oil level is correct, not allowing it to
exceed the MIN mark, because this can damage the appliance.
˃
If necessary, pour more oil up to the MAX mark and carry out the pre-heating
operation before you start frying again.
˃
Repeat the operation until all the food is fried.
˃
Turn the Temperature Selector to the "0" position (OFF) and remove the plug from
the power outlet.
˃
Wait for the oil to completely cool down before you start cleaning.
˃
Remove all the oil with the use of a scoop. Do not turn the product upside down.
˃
The used oil can be reused to fry again, but you will have to filter it in order to
remove any food residue. The maximum number of uses recommended is 5.
How to fry correctly
˃
It is important to use the temperature recommended for each recipe. If the
temperature is too low, the food will absorb the oil when fried. If the temperature is
too high, an exterior crust is quickly formed and the inside remains raw.
˃
Foods to be fried must be dipped when the oil is reaching the right temperature,
which is when the heat light turns off.
