Configure your EVSE
(for EVR30-R2C only)
To enable your charging station to communicate with EV charging networks, complete
the following steps:
1. Create System Configuration file.
a. Login to system configurator tool at www.leviton.com/evseconfig.
email address: EVconfig@leviton.com
password: Leviton1!
b. Select Start Configuration.
c. Select EVMU3017MWSLV from the list of model numbers and click Go.
d. Select OCPP as the backend and click Next.
e. Get the OCPP credential information (Charge box ID, OCPP version, server
URL) from the network provider and fill in each section. Fill in the WLAN SSID,
password, static IP or DHCP based on the local Wi-Fi setting. Supported security
types are WEP, WPA/WPA2 Personal, WPA/WPA2 Enterprise. Supported
encryption types are TKIP and AES. Click Next.
f. Accept the default authentication mode by clicking Next.
g. Review the information in the preview screen. Click Back to make any corrections
or click Save Configuration File.
2. Save file to USB drive.
Locate file on PC and copy to USB flash drive. NOTE: USB flash drive format must
be FAT32 file system, and memory size needs to be less than 32GB (<32GB flash
drive not included).
3. Upload configuration file to charging station.
a. Turn on the charging station power switch. All status indicator lights are ON during
system self-test. When self-test is complete, the Power indicator light illuminates in
green, meaning the charging station is ready for configuration. The Power indicator
light would then enter "stealth flashing" mode if network communication is not yet
established.
b. Confirm the charging station is not connected to a vehicle.
c. Remove the front cover and the USB cap from the charging station.
d. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port. There will be alternating slow flashing
of Power and Charging lights to indicate the USB operation is in progress.
e. When USB operation is done, Power and Charging lights are ON at the same time
for 2 seconds. The Power indicator light should illuminate in solid green, meaning
network communication is established.
f. Remove the USB flash drive. The charging station will restart automatically.
g. Reinstall the USB cap and front cover.
