Charging the battery

The battery is not charged when delivered.
WARNIN G!
Risk of electric shock!
Connect the mains adapter plug to
a professionally installed 230 V ~
50 Hz mains socket.
Do not touch the mains cable with
wet hands.
WARNIN G!
Avoid fire hazards
Always uncoil the entire length of
the mains cable.
Never cover the mains adapter
plug.
Connect the mains plug to the camcorder in
order to charge the battery.
Plug the mains adapter into a 230 V ~ 50 Hz
socket.
The battery will begin charging.
The battery requires approximately six hours
to reach full charge for the first time.
Advice on the correct handling of batteries
can be found in the section entitled Avoiding
damage to the battery from page 7 onwards.

Stationary operation

Connect the mains plug to the camcorder for
stationary operation of the camcorder.
Plug the mains adapter into a 230 V ~ 50 Hz
socket.
The camcorder is now ready for use.
