Protecting data on an SD/MMC card

In order to protect the data on an SD/MMC
card, push the write-protect tab (1) into the
"LOCK" position (2).
The SD/MMC card is now write-protected. You
can read existing data but cannot store any new
data.
To remove the write protection push the
write-protect tab to position (1).
The write protection is now cancelled. You can
now save data on the SD/MMC card.

Switching the camcorder on and off

To switch the camcorder on, open the LC display
as follows:
Hold the camcorder with the display flap
pointing upwards.
Take hold of the flap.
Lift the display flap up until it is vertical (1.).
You will hear a beep. The camcorder is now
switched on.
