To adjust for transport / storage
Manual (laydown) towers
1. Rotate the fixture yokes 90° (perpendicular) to the light
bar. See Figure 16
2. Turn the light fixtures to face inward toward center.

Hydraulic (vertical) tower models
1. Set the light bar to the transport position.
a. Rotate the light bar front-to-back. See Figure 17
b. Pull the park pin and rotate 90° to lock the light bar.
2. Set the tower arms to the transport position.
a. Loosen the adjustment nut on each tower arm.
Note: On six-light models, pull and rotate the park pin to
retract.
b. Rotate each tower arm to set the light fixture yokes to
a horizontal position. See Figure 17.

c. Tighten the adjustment nuts.
Note: On six-light models, also rotate and lock the park pin.
3. Rotate the fixture yokes parallel to the light bar.
4. Turn the light fixtures to face inward toward center. See
Figure 17.

Raising And Lowering The Light Tower
WARNING
Crush Hazard
• Raising or lowering the light tower with obstructions
or people near the light tower could result in death or
serious injury. Be sure the area is clear of people and
obstructions before raising or lowering the light tower.
Manual (Laydown) Towers
To raise the light tower
1. Unlatch the tower locking pin (B, Figure 18).
2. Turn the winch handle (C, Figure 18) clockwise until the
light tower (A) is vertical.
3. Lock the light tower in the operating position with the latch
pin (E, Figure 18).
WARNING
Unsafe Operation Hazard
• Failure to lock the light tower in the operating position
could result in death or serious injury. Be sure to lock
the light tower in the operation position.
4. Turn the winch handle (D, Figure 18) on the light tower
clockwise to raise the telescoping masts to the preferred
height.
