Adjusting Motion Sensor:
After the initial 3-to-7-day charge, press the ON/OFF
switch to the ON position.
On the bottom of the motion sensor there are two adjust-
ing knobs: TIME and LUX.
TIME — Duration Time: The duration time will adjust
from 10 seconds (–) to 1 minute (+), depending on how
long you wish the unit to stay on after motion is detected.
Note: Once the light has been triggered, any additional
motion detection will start the timed period again from
the beginning. Turn the TIME dial clockwise to increase
the duration. Turn the TIME dial counterclockwise to
decrease the duration.
LUX — Lux Control Level: The Lux control module has
a built-in sensing device (photocell) that detects daylight
and darkness. The (R)position indicates that the motion
sensor will activate the light during the day and night. The
() position indicates that the motion sensor will activate
the light only at night. You can set the unit to operate at the
desired surrounding light level by adjusting the LUX knob.
Note: If the unit turns on when it is too light outside, turn
the control toward the () position. However, if the light is
not activating during nighttime because of a streetlight or
bright house lights, turn this control toward the (R) position.
