CYCLE MODiFiER BUTTONS
Each cycle has default settings that are selected automatically.
You may also customize these settings using the cycle modifier
buttons.
AUTO DRY cycles are designed to properly care for specific
fabrics and loads. As a result, not all settings are available for
each cycle selection. Refer to page 20 for details.
TIMED DRY cycles have default settings, but you may also
customize the settings using the cycle modifier buttons.
Press the button for the desired modifier until the indicator light
for the desired value is lit.
NOTE: To protect your garments, not every dryness level,
temperature, or option is available with every cycle. See the
Cycle Guide on page 20 for details.

Temp, Control
To select the correct temperature for the load, press the
Temp button. An indicator light will illuminate next to the
desired temperature. Press the button repeatedly to scroll
through the settings.
High - For sturdy cottons or those labeled Tumble Dry.
Medium - For permanent press, synthetics, lightweight
cottons, or items labeled Tumble Dry Medium.
Low - For heat sensitive items labeled Tumble Dry Low or
Tumble Dry Warm.
Extra Low - Provides the lowest heated dry temperature
possible.
Dry Level
To select the dry level in the Normal, Heavy Duty, or other
Auto Dry cycles, press the Dry Level button. An indicator
light will illuminate next to the desired dryness level. Press the
button repeatedly to scroll through the settings.
Larger or bulkier loads may require the Extra Dry setting for
complete dryness. The Damp Dry setting is best suited for
lightweight fabrics or for leaving some moisture in the clothing
at the end of the cycle. Use for items that lay flat or hang to
dry.
* Air Dry is the available option of Timed Dry.

Timed Dry
When using Timed Dry cycles, time can be adjusted by
pressing the Time Selection button.
During the Auto Dry cycle, the time light indicator is off
because exact drying times are determined by fluctuating
humidity levels.
Select the Timed Dry course and press the Dry Level button
to activate the Air Dry (no heating) option. If you want to
deactivate it, press the Dry Level button once again.
Chime
Adjusts the volume of the chime or turns off the chime. Press
the button repeatedly until the desired volume is shown on
the display.
