Setting the triggering force:
•
Disconnect the blind rivet setting tool from the compressed air supply.
•
Unscrew union nut (A) and steel head sleeve (C) and clean inside if necessary.
•
Remove or add compression springs (D) depending on the desired triggering force.
•
Tighten steel head sleeve (C) with union nut (A).
•
Connect the blind rivet setting tool to the compressed air supply.

To suck in and hold a blind rivet
This function is used to hold the blind rivet in the nosepiece for riveting vertically downward.
•
Using a pin (e.g. rivet mandrel), push the slide valve (M) in the tool head as far as it will
go to the left or right.
•
After the blind rivet setting tool has grabbed the rivet, push up the slide (O) so that it locks
in. To switch off the suction, push down the slide (O).
•
The complete suction function of the blind rivet setting tool is deactivated by pushing
back the slide valve (M).

To empty the spent mandrel container
•
The spent mandrel container (L) must be emptied in good time; overfilling will cause the
blind rivet setting tool to malfunction.
•
Unscrew the spent mandrel container (L) by turning anticlockwise, collect spent mandrels
in suitable container.
•
Screw on spent mandrel container (L).

Maintenance and care
The complete grip mechanism must be maintained regularly.
