ECO Set Point
At the end of each 2 ½ minute regeneration cycle, the exhaust valve will close and the purge air will repressurise the off-line column, ready for
use. At this point, the dryer controller will check the dewpoint sensor. If the compressed air is drier than the dewpoint for which the dryer was
selected (the ECO Set Point), this indicates that there is drying capacity remaining in the on-line desiccant bed. The EST- Energy Saving
Technology will then override the fixed cycle, extending the drying time for the on-line column, saving purge air (energy).
Once the dewpoint of the air leaving the dryer is equal to the ECO set point or the moisture override period has been reached (default 30
minutes), the dryer will change over and the fully saturated bed will be regenerated.
A dewpoint value higher (wetter) than the dewpoint alarm set point will place the dryer into dewpoint alarm mode."
Dewpoint Alarm
Should the outlet dewpoint drop below the Dewpoint Alarm Set Point, the dewpoint displayed will flash and the fault alarm symbol will be
displayed. The generic fault relay will also change state.
The dryer will continue to cycle normally during dewpoint alarm. Once the dewpoint is higher than the alarm set point, the dryer display and fault
relay will return to normal.
