Application using a water bottle system
4% solution based on hydrogen peroxide for the
removal of biofilm in dental units with bottle systems.
In combination with the METASYS BR Biofilm
Removing System,
recommended for the refurbishment of dental
units as well as before the installation of a water
decontamination system.
Attention: Biofilm
decontamination) may only be carried out by trained
technicians!
Spectrum of efficacy: For the effective cleaning and
disinfection of water-carrying pipes as well as for the
removal of biofilm from dental units.
Safety recommendation: Avoid contact with skin and
eyes. Keep away from children. Do not swallow!
Application:
Put on protective gloves and goggles before use!
Remove all water consumers (e.g. turbines,
handpieces, couplings; OUTSIDE air/water spray)
from the dental unit (protection from clogging).
Fill the empty water bottle of the treatment unit

with GREEN&CLEAN BR.
IMPORTANT: Before performing the biofilm removal
procedure, check whether the dentist element (e.g.
instruments) is a stand-alone system, or if it is
connected to the assistant and patient elements (e.g.
mouth rinse, saliva ejector) of the dental chair: For a
stand-alone system use 250 ml of GREEN&CLEAN
BR; if the chair elements are connected, use min.
1000 ml of GREEN&CLEAN BR.
Connect the water bottle to the treatment unit and

flood the water pipes.
Open all water consumer outlets and wait for the

violet liquid to escape. For treatment units without
spittoon bowl: Use a suitable receptacle (e.g. bucket
or tub) to collect the escaping liquid!
As soon as violet liquid escapes, close all outlets

and valves and observe the action time (30 min).
When the action time has elapsed, fill the emptied
5
and washed-out water bottle of the dental unit with
clean water, connect it to the dental unit and rinse
the water bottle and pipes completely.

If necessary, repeat the rinsing process until

all of the GREEN&CLEAN BR has been rinsed
out. For intensive decontamination of the bottle
itself, fill the water bottle up to the bottleneck with
GREEN&CLEAN BR. Seal the water bottle and swirl

liquid in it to completely wet the surfaces. The action
time is 30 min. Then empty the bottle and rinse with
clean water. If necessary, repeat this step several
times until the entire GREEN&CLEAN BR has been
rinsed out.
If the spittoon bowl and the mouth glass filler are

not connected to the bottle system, we recommend
carrying out the cleaning and disinfection process
with the METASYS BR Biofilm Removing System
(METASYS order no. 40050501 METASYS BR
Biofilm Removing System + 1 x 1000 ml bottle of
GREEN&CLEAN BR Biofilm Removing Solution).
Please refer to the directions for use of the device for
the relevant instructions. This can be ordered directly
from METASYS Medizintechnik GmbH.
The intensive decontamination should be repeated
at least once a year and whenever necessary, even
if the water pipes are continuously decontaminated.
This mixture is classified as not hazardous according
to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 [GHS].
