Recycling
- This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with
normal household waste (2012/19/EU) (Fig. 27).
- This symbol means that this product contains a built-in
rechargeable battery which shall not be disposed of with normal
household waste (Fig. 28) (2006/66/EC). We strongly advise you
to take your product to an official collection point or a Philips
service centre to have a professional remove the rechargeable
battery.
- Follow your country's rules for the separate collection of electrical
and electronic products and rechargeable batteries. Correct
disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the
environment and human health.
Removing the rechargeable battery
Warning: Only remove the rechargeable battery when you discard the
appliance. Make sure the battery is completely empty when you
remove it.
1 Remove the appliance from the charging stand, switch on the
appliance and let it operate until it switches off after one minute.
Repeat this action until the rechargeable battery is empty.
2 Insert a small flathead screwdriver between the silver-colored ring
and the anti-roll ridge and pry loose the top part of the appliance.
Carefully pull the top part with the battery holder out of the
housing (Fig. 29).
3 Remove the rechargeable battery from the battery holder.
Warning: Do not attempt to replace the rechargeable
battery.
