4. Installation

4.1. General information
DANGER: To test an anchor point using the TA
test plate, the operator must use a manually activated
tripod loading device specifically designed and sized for
placing under traction load without risking the anchor
point to be tested (Fig. 6, page 5) or any other
apparatus placed under a load in traction of the TA test
plate especially designed and sized to be used in
complete safety.
DANGER: When installing, the installer must
ensure that all safety requirements specified in the
applicable regulations have been observed. The
installer must be equipped with all the necessary
Personal Protective Equipment to ensure safety during
the installation operations.
DANGER: It is strictly prohibited to fasten shackle
pins to the brace arms (Fig. 5, page 5).
