Charging
Before the fi rst use, please charge it fully.
The charging status of the device is shown on a symbol
The lowest bar fl ashes when the battery needs to be charged.
Please charge the device immediately to preserve battery life.
Insert the supplied USB cable with the micro-USB plug into the provided opening (Fig.2-C) on the
device. Connect the device via the USB cable only to a suitable USB power source.
Do not apply excessive force when connecting the USB cable. The USB plug fi ts only one way into
the USB port.
To fully charge, leave the device connected for approximately 3 - 4 hours.
The charging status symbol fl ashes during charging. When the device is fully charged, the charge
icon will appear fi lled. Disconnect the device from the charging power source.
Do not leave the fully-charged device connected to the charging power source as this may
shorten battery life.
Recharge the battery every six months, even if the product is not in use.
Operation
Remove the protective fi lm from the display.
When entering the setting mode and each successful double-click is followed by a beep.
Press and hold the

button (Fig.1-E, Fig.1-K) in the respective setting mode for quick setting.
The device will automatically quit the setting mode if no button is pressed for 10 seconds.
Time setting
Press and hold the TIME SET button
The time symbol appears
(Fig.1-O).
The hour digit fl ashes on the display. Press the
Confi rm with the TIME SET button.
Set the minutes in the same way. Confi rm with the TIME SET button.
12- or 24-hour system
Press the TIME SET button
(Fig.1-N) twice in quick succession in normal mode to set the 12
HR or 24 HR system. In the 12 Hr system AM or PM (Fig.1-M) (after 12 o'clock) appears on the
display.
Alarm clock function
Press the ALARM 1
(Fig.1-H) or ALARM 2
alarm time will be displayed for a short moment. The corresponding alarm symbol fl ashes.
