Installation Considerations
• For best results, Hansgrohe recommends that this unit be installed by a
licensed, professional plumber.
• The electrical connections should be made by a licensed, professional
electrician.
• Please read over these instructions thoroughly before beginning installation.
Make sure that you have all tools and supplies needed to complete the
installation.
• This trim is for use with rough 16180181 (not included)
• The sensor range depends on many factors, including the shape and
reflection of the lavatory, the ambient light conditions, and the shape, speed,
and reflectivity of the hand or other object brought into sensor range.
• Normal sensor range is 1⅝" – 7".
• Dark-colored objects will have a shorter sensor range than light-colored
objects.
• Strong light sources should not shine directly on the sensor window.
• Drops of water on the sensor window can cause the faucet to activate
unexpectedly.
• Keep this booklet and the receipt (or other proof of date and place of
purchase) for this product in a safe place. The receipt is required should it be
necessary to request warranty parts.
