Before recharging the battery (1), switch it off by means of the ON/OFF selector (11) and put the shear in its holster (5)
keeping the blade group (19) closed.
•
Do not open the flexible circuit board case (21).
•
Do not leave the shear in the rain . Store it in a dry place.
•
Do not carry the shear holding it by the power-supply cable (12).
•
Do not use a battery charger which is different from the one supplied by CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. The disregard of this
indication could cause serious damages to the tool and injuries to the operator.
•
When the tool is not used, switch the battery (1) off by means of the ON/OFF selector (11).

2.4 Maintenance

WORNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments on the mechanical parts of the equipment, put on
heavy-duty work shoes, protective gloves and goggles.
•
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual
qualifications.
•
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a qualified mechanic.
•
Before any maintenance or adjustment operations, switch the battery (1) off and disconnect the shear cable (12).
•
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
•
Only qualified mechanics are authorized to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance is
to be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices should be
activated as soon as maintenance work has been completed.
•
All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. Authorized Service
Points.
•
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorized by the
qualified mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
- work has been completed;
- the machine runs in a trouble-free manner;
- the safety devices are activated;
- no one is working on the machine.

3.2 Product description

The electronic, battery-operated shear is fitted with a cutting blade (17) made of hardened steel and has been created for
pruning vineyards, orchards, olive groves, citrus trees and ornamental plants.
Its cutting power is generated by an electric motor, powered by a portable battery (1), which operates the blades (19) by
means of gears.
The shear is fitted with a trigger (15) and a flexible circuit board (21), which checks the tool modes and avoids any accidental
working.
The modes are visible and can be selected by means of a display (10), which is connected to the flexible electronic unit inside
the battery (1).

Connection to the battery

The shear is connected to the battery by means of the connector (6) of the cable (12).
