Adjusting the depth stop (Fig. 7 – 8).
The depth stop consists of a sleeve and a stop
sleeve. A complete turn of the stop sleeve
(4 clicks) changes the driving depth by 1 mm.
Adjust the presetting of the stop sleeve in
such a manner that it forms a plane with the
supporting surface of the screw.
As a test, drive in one screw to the stop.
Check the result of the driven-in screw: If the
screw is to be driven-in deeper, screw the
stop sleeve further in. If the screw has been
driven-in too deep, screw the stop sleeve fur-
ther out.
For reliable working results, always carry out
screwdriving operations using the depth stop.
Selecting the rotation direction
(figure 9).
Adjust the rotation selector switch only when
the machine is at a complete stop.
Set the rotation selector switch to right or left
rotation as required.
To avoid accidental starting, e. g., during
transport, set the rotation selector switch to
the centre position.
