5. Deactivate the airbag if using the Maxi-Cosi
Rubi on the front passenger seat. If this is not
possible, place the passenger seat in the
rearmost position.
6. Prevent the Maxi-Cosi Rubi from becoming
trapped or weighed down by luggage, seats
and/or slamming doors.
7. Make sure that all luggage and other loose
objects are secure.
8. Cover the Maxi-Cosi Rubi always when
exposed to direct sunlight in the car.
Otherwise, the cover, metal and plastic parts
could become too hot for your child's skin.
Maxi-Cosi Rubi and your child
1. Never leave your child unattended.
2. S ecure your child always using the harness
system.
3. M ake sure that the headrest is adjusted to the
proper height.
4. M ake sure that the harness belts are not
damaged or twisted.
5. M ake sure that you can not fit more than one
finger between the harness belts and your
child (1cm).
Maxi-Cosi Rubi maintenance instructions
Warning: Be careful whilst unlocking the
Maxi-Cosi Rubi harness system for cover
maintenance.
1. U se the original cover only, since it is part
of the safety features of this product.

2. C lean the Maxi-Cosi Rubi regularly with
lukewarm water, soap and a soft cloth. Do
not use any lubricants or aggressive cleaning
agents on this product.
The Maxi-Cosi Rubi has been approved in
accordance with the latest European safety
standards (ECE R44/04) and is suitable for children
from 9 to 18 kg (from 9 months to approx.
3,5 years of age).
Environment
Keep all plastic packaging materials out of reach
of your child to avoid the risk of suffocation. For
environmental reasons, when you have stopped
using this product, we ask that you dispose of
the product in the proper waste facilities in
accordance with local legislation.
