Tow bar
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends having the
fitting undertaken by contractual partners.
The trailer coupling set 5E0 092 155 is intended for Octavia (5E3), Octavia Combi (5E5) and
Octavia Combi 4x4 (5E5) vehicles.

The trailer coupling set 5E9 092 155 is only intended for Octavia Scout (5E5) vehicles.
Note. The trailer coupling cannot be fitted:
- for Greenline models manufactured from CW45/13 to CW05/14.
- for models with a natural-gas engine.
The figures in the instructions provide general fitting information.
In the instruction manual, the procedure for fitting the trailer coupling
to ŠKODA Octavia (5E3) vehicles is described and explained using
figures. The trailer coupling is fitted to other vehicle types mentioned
in the instructions in exactly the same way. The design details of the
trailer couplings are different (including the shape of the trailer cou-
pling bracket), but the trailer couplings are fitted to the vehicle in the
same way.
Important
Retrofitting a tow bar places increased demands on the vehicle's cooling system.
As a result, the cooling system parts have to be replaced in accordance with the informa-
tion held by service technicians in authorised ŠKODA AUTO specialist service centres.
The tow bar is designed for coupling a trailer with a total weight of 2000 kg (the weight
limit for trailers entered in the registration document of each particular vehicle is applica-
ble).
The tow bar 5E0 092 155 has been manufactured according to approved documentation
and complies with type approval E8 55R-01 55657.
The tow bar 5E9 092 155 has been manufactured according to approved documentation
and complies with type approval E8 55R-01 55697.
The attached supplement for the Octavia Limousine with 1.4TSI engine must be observed.

General data

The design of the tow bar complies with all Czech and international regulations. The device
successfully passed UN no. 55 according to the EU regulation. The ball hitch is fitted with a
ball pin which has a diameter of 50 mm.
