There are no fitting instructions included with this wiring harness. To

fit this wiring harness, proceed in accordance with the instructions
provided in this manual.
Important
Retrofitting a tow bar to your vehicle increases the demand on its cooling system.
As a result, the cooling system components will need to be replaced in accordance with
the information held by workshop technicians in authorised ŠKODA AUTO specialist
service centres.
The additional tow bar that is fitted is designed to couple trailers in accordance with the
restrictions specified in the vehicle registration document.
The tow bar has been manufactured in accordance with approved documentation and
complies with homologation E1-55R-012696.

General information

The tow bar has been designed to comply with all Czech and international regulations and
has passed the mandatory strength tests imposed by EU directives. The ball hitch with inte-
grated 13-pin socket is fitted with a towball with a diameter of 50 mm.
