5. INSTALL TRANSITION
Attach transition (provided) to top of hood.
Use metal foil duct tape to make all joints secure and
airtight.

6. INSTALL THE HOOD

Lift hood up and onto wood strip. Attach transition to
10" round duct. Secure hood to wood strip using the
provided no. 10 x 2" hex head screws. Drill two 3/16"
diameter holes into the drywall for wall anchors
through the existing holes in the inside hood back in
the locations shown. Then, install both wall anchors
with no. 8 x 5/8" screws and washers provided.
7. CONNECT DECORATIVE FLUE TO HOOD
AEWPD Series
From inside the hood, attach flue to top of hood at sides and front of hood
using no. 8-32 x 1/2" screws (provided with decorative flue).
If this decorative flue is installed in a saline environment
(e.g. coast), rinse all surfaces once a week with clear water,
(even if the hood is not used) and wipe dry completely.
