SUCTION POWER AND BLOWER AIR ADJUSTMENT
It is possible to increase or reduce suction or blower air power to suit requirements using the "+" and
"s" buttons on the control panel (G) on the appliance body (Fig. 8) as well as on the control panel (R)
on the handgrip (T) of the hose (M) (Fig. 9).
There are 4 suction power levels: low, medium, high and turbo. The suction power is shown by the
number of indicator lights that switch on the control panel (G).
CAUTION: We recommend using minimum power for delicate materials. Select a medium power for
mattresses, upholstered furnishings and carpets. Select maximum power for tiled or wood floors or
surfaces in another hardwearing material.
The controls on the handgrip (T) of the hose (M) (Fig. 9) are battery operated and therefore, before
starting the appliance, if you wish to use the handgrip controls, you need to insert the batteries into
the special compartment in the handgrip (T) after first removing the cover (S).
CAUTION: Make sure that the batteries are correctly inserted and that the positive and negative poles
are in the right place. If the controls do not work, check the batteries and try replacing them with 2
new ones.
NOTE: The red indicator light under the controls on the handgrip (T) will switch on every time the
controls are used.
