THE JACK DOES NOT LIFT THE LOAD.
a) Check the oil level through the screws (1401) as explained previously. B) There is dirt underneath the valves:
loosen the cap (518), remove the bearings and spring and blow inside, to thoroughly clean it, next, reassemble
and if necessary knock the bearings again (40) and (521), repeat the bleeding operation illustrated on the
previous page. c) Check the hydraulic block (1152), paying special attention that the pistons (89) and (264),
which control opening and closing the descent valves, have not become rigid, in which case dismantle them
and grease them. d) Check that taps 2307 are vertical position and the tap 1164 is open.
THE JACK LIFTS, BUT COMES DOWN UNDER THE LOAD.
a) Check that under the valves (40) and (83) of the assembly 1152 there are no dirty particles, then, after
carefully cleaning, readapt the pin (83) in its seat with a light blow with a hammer. If it is not possible to obtain a
seal on the pin, replace the valve (KIT0265) complete with the pin (83). If, after the lift has been remounted, the
load still descends then go to the next step. b) Lower the pistons completely, close the tap 1164, drain all oil
from the cylinder unit 2263, un- screw the cylinder and check the seal 2222; replace it if it is damaged. Remount
all parts, tightening the cylinder well, open the tap 1164, let the pistons move up and down a couple of times,
bleed and top up the oil when the pistons are down.
THE PISTONS FAIL TO GO BACK IN COMPLETELY EVEN IF YOU ARE KEEPING THE
DESCENT BUTTON PRESSED
a) Check the air supply line is not pinched or restricted anywhere and that the gauge 2270, on the main control
console, reaches at least 8.5 bar. b) Check the vacuum pump 2260 and that the piston 0138 is sliding smoothly:
it is good practice to grease or lubricate it, unscrew and clean the silencer 0267 if necessary and screw it back
down. c) Lower the pistons completely, close the tap 1164, drain all oil from the cylinder unit 2263, un- screw
the cylinder and check the seal 2222; replace it if it is damaged. Remount all parts, tightening the cylinder well,
open the tap 1164, let the pistons move up and down a couple of times, bleed and top up the oil when the
pistons are down.
PROBLEMS WITH THE PNEUMATIC WHEEL SYSTEM THE WHEELS ARE NOT KEEPING THE
JACK RAISED
a) if the pneumatically operated wheels are unable to keep the jack raised for a long period of time, check there
are no air leaks in the circuit. Then check the compressed air tank and all the pipes and their fittings. b) if the
pneumatically operated wheels have a job to move up or down, remove them and check smoothness of piston
2214 and pin 2215, greasing them if necessary. If they are ruined they must be replaced.
