2 Safety cautions

• The sealing area could reach dangerous hot temperatures. Handle the unit only
for the indicated parts, lever and cutter knob.
• Choose a workspace, fl at, levelled and let a free space around it.
• Avoid that water splashes drops over the sealing machine.
• Perform some tests to set the sealing temperature. An excess or a defect of
temperature could reduce the quality of the sealing.
• This equipment must only be operated by personnel trained and suitable qualifi ed
to work in a sterilization facilities and its common hazards.
• Not suitable to use on fl ammable or explosive ambients.
3 Overview
The sealing machine SEAL-1000 has been designed to seal paper/polipropilene or
paper/polyester to wrap goods to be sterilized on an autoclave.
It provides a wide sealed area and temperature can be selected to suit any material.
It has a two-side cutter for a high quality cut.

5 Warranty
The warranty covers the defective components or faulty assembling of the unit for
1 year since the purchasing date. Keep purchasing bill as the only valid document
for the purchasing date.
The warranty does not cover damages caused for a unit malfunction. The unit must
be suitably qualifi ed before used for valuable samples processing.
Return goods are not accepted without previous J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u. approval.
