Special functions
The option buttons also activate special functions,
including CHILD LOCK, RACK DRY.
Press and hold the option button marked with the
special function
* rack dry
Use RACK DRY with items, such as wool sweaters, silk,
and lingerie, that should dry flat. RACK DRY can also be
used with items that should not be tumbled dry, such as
gym shoes or stuffed animals.
The default heat setting for the Rack Dry cycle is no heat.
To prevent excess heat buildup in the items and to help
prevent damage, only Low and Ultra Low heat settings
are available.
These can be selected before starting the cycle.
notE
NEVER tumble dry a load of clothing with the rack
installed. When the rack is installed, the drum will
rotate as usual, but the rack will not move. Make sure
all articles to be dried remain completely on the rack
and cannot fall off or be pulled off by the turning
drum. Be sure to remove the rack after use.
to Install the drying rack
1. With the dryer door open, slide the rack into the dryer
drum.
2. Make sure it is seated evenly on the edge of the inner
door rim behind the lint filter and is resting flat on the
inside of the dryer.
notE
Be sure to remove the drying rack after using the
RACK DRY cycle.
* chIld lock
Use this option to prevent unwanted use of the dryer
or to keep cycle settings from being changed while the
dryer is operating.
Press and hold the Easy Iron button for 3 seconds to
activate or deactivate the CHILD LOCK function.
The CHILD LOCK icon will be shown in the display, and
all controls are disabled except the POWER button.

to run another cycle. To deactivate CHILD LOCK, press
and hold the Easy Iron button for three seconds.
damp dry signal
With this option, the dryer will signal when the load
is approximately 80% dry. This allows you to remove
faster- drying lightweight items or items that you would
like to iron or hang while still slightly damp.
eco hybrid
Using the Eco Hybrid option with the LowTemp Dry+,
Cotton/Normal, Heavy Duty and Towels cycles will
help save energy using heat pump air recirculating
technology. This feature increases energy conservation,
but may result in longer drying times.
