CONTROLLING THE FLOW OF OIL
Follow these steps to adjust the amount of
oil that will flow into your nut butter.
1.
Align the hole in the bottom of the Nut Guide with
either the small or large oil hole in the bottom
of the Oil Dispenser. The large oil hole will more
quickly dispense oil than the small oil hole.
2.
Insert the Oil Dispenser into the Nut Guide.
3.
Twist the Oil Dispenser clockwise to align the holes in the
bottom of each part to create a flow of oil. Twist the Oil
Dispenser counterclockwise to stop the oil from flowing.

HELPFUL TIPS

NUTS
Only use unshelled nuts in your PROFESSIONAL PEANUT BUTTER MAKER.
It may help to finely chop nuts before placing them in the Nut Bin. This will allow the
Nut Grinder to work more quickly and efficiently, and will prevent it from clogging.
When making nut butter in your PROFESSIONAL PEANUT BUTTER MAKER, you will
need to adjust the amount of oil you add depending on the type of nut being used.
Certain nuts, like Macadamia, have a higher oil content and will require you to add
little or no oil. Nuts with low oil content, like almonds, will need more oil added.
To make roasted nut butter, place raw nuts on a parchment or foil lined
cookie sheet and roast in an over at 350 ºF (175°C) for 12 to 15 minutes,
stirring once or twice to prevent burning. Allow nuts to cool completely
before placing in your PROFESSIONAL PEANUT BUTTER MAKER.
STORING NUT BUTTER
Fresh nut butter must be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight
container. Your nut butter will last in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 months.
DO NOT store at room temperature as the nut butter will spoil.
Before serving, you may prefer to remove the nut butter from the refrigerator and transfer
to a microwave safe dish, then heat in the microwave for 15 - 20 seconds or until it is at
spreading consistency. DO NOT place nut butter back in refrigerator after microwaving.
Dispose of any unused nut butter.
