Place the liquid to be heated (drinks, sauces, etc.) in a microwave-safe container, e.g. glass or mug
and place this on the glass plate (2) in the microwave.
•
If you put multiple containers in the microwave at once, make sure they do not touch.
•
Start the "Liquids" programme.
To prevent the liquids suddenly boiling, we recommend:
placing a glass rod in the liquid while it is being heated
leaving the liquid in the microwave for 20-30 seconds after heating.

9.6. Defrosting
9.6.1 Defrosting by time
This function gives you a simple way of defrosting frozen foods. Simply enter the defrosting time you want.
•
Press the Defrost button
defrost programme "DEF1". Confirm by pressing the Start/Quick Start

The time display "00:10" is shown on the display (1).
•
Use the rotary knob (9) to select the defrost time you want between 10 seconds and 95 minutes and
confirm this by pressing the Start/Quick Start button

The defrost process begins. On the display (1), the remaining defrost time countdown is shown and

symbols flash.
We recommend you to turn the food after approx. half of the set time.
•
Open the door. The remaining defrost time is indicated on the display (1).
•
Turn the food.
•
Close the door and press the Start/Quick Start button
remaining time continues to count down on the display (1).
If you do not think the food needs turning, do nothing and simply allow the programme to continue.
The display (1) shows a flashing "End" to indicate the end of the defrost process and beeps 5 times. If the
microwave door is not opened, the 5 beeps are repeated every 2 minutes.
